JACKSON, NJ — For those eagerly anticipating the coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure, construction moved to a new chapter, with the installation of the first pieces of track.

The coaster, which is slated to open in 2027, is being constructed in the area formerly occupied by Kingda Ka.

Sections of track had arrived in recent weeks at the park, which opens soon for the 2026 season. Installation of the first pieces of track is "a defining step where the layout of the ride starts to take shape in real time.," park officials said.

The coaster is under construction as the park also undergoes the transformation of The Boardwalk area, which is set to debut in the late spring, officials said.
