• Nurse Admits Pepper-Spraying Dementia Patient At Ocean County Facility (patch.com) — Manchester residents are learning that a local nurse has admitted to pepper-spraying a dementia patient at a Whiting nursing facility and then failing to promptly get him help. Authorities say Manchester EMS ultimately treated the man after he was left without medical aid for about 46 minutes, and the nurse has now pleaded guilty and agreed to give up her license.
