Rabies Vaccination Clinic On Tap In Manchester: Monday Manual

The calendar is somewhat quiet in Manchester this week. See what lies ahead.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Welcome to the May 16 edition of Monday Manual, where we highlight events coming up during the week in Manchester.

Manchester Township has scheduled a free rabies vaccination clinic for May 21, officials announced.

The free clinic will be held at the Ridgeway Fire Company firehouse and at the Manchester Township public works garage, officials said.

The firehouse, at 2848 Ridgeway Road across from Manchester Township Middle School, is scheduled to have vaccinations for cats from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., and dogs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., officials said.

Vaccinations at the public works garage, just west of Roosevelt City Road on Route 70, is scheduled to vaccinate cats from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and dogs from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

If you are planning to vote in the primary election on June 7, you have until close of business on Tuesday to register to vote. You can register online, or in person; check with the Ocean County Clerk's office.
