MANCHESTER, NJ — Ridgeway Road is closed Wednesday morning after a crash late Tuesday night that brought down wires, Manchester Township police said.

Ridgeway Road is closed in both directions between Route 70 and Beacon Street, police said.

The crash involved a firetruck, Ocean County Scanner News reported.

Police said intermittent power outages were possible because of the downed lines, affecting residents of Richard Estates, Oak Knoll Estates, Leisure Ridge, and surrounding areas.
