Events this week in the Manchester area

Here are some events of note happening this week in Manchester and the surrounding area:
Tonight, the Manchester Township Police Department hosts the final installment of its ”Staying Safe in Manchester” series with a forum on road safety, starting at 6 p.m. at the Manchester branch of the Ocean County Library.
On Wednesday, the Manchester Board of Education meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Ridgeway Elementary School, Route 571.

Also on Wednesday, the Prosecutor’s Offices of Ocean and Monmouth counties are hosting a session on marijuana called “Let’s Be Blunt.” It is from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brick Township High School.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday there is the Festival of Trees, a fundraising event for the Caregivers of Central Jersey, which helps senior citizens from the Manchester area, among others, live indepently.
