2 Arrested For Having Guns In Fight Outside Manville Strip Club
Reports of shots fired and a fight at Foxtails Lounge on June 23 led to the arrest of 2 Bound Brook and Plainfield men.
MANVILLE, NJ — Two men were arrested and charged for having guns in connection with a fight outside of a Manville strip club on June 23.
At around 12:20 a.m., multiple 911 calls reported a large fight and shots fired at Foxtails Lounge at 39 South St. in Manville, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.
The crowd outside Foxtails dispersed before police arrived.

Video surveillance showed two men with handguns. The two men were identified as Rashir Abner, 31, of Hamilton Street, Bound Brook and Najee McCoy, 30, of West 5th Street, Plainfield, following an investigation by detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and Manville Police Department.
Abner was arrested at his Bound Brook home on June 28 and McCoy was arrested on June 29 at his Plainfield home.

Both were each charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun and second-degree certain persons not to possess a handgun.
Abner and McCoy were subsequently lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
