221 Heroin Bags Found Inside Manville Home
Breaking: Charles Gordon, 56, of Manville was arrested after a search of his home found heroin, a taser, $5K in cash and more: Prosecutor.

MANVILLE, NJ — A Manville man was arrested after authorities found 221 bags of heroin, cash and other items inside his home, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson announced.
Charles Gordon, 56 was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance (heroin) with the intent to distribute, third degree; possession of a weapon, fourth degree; possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense, second degree; and possession of drug paraphernalia a disorderly person offense.
Following a narcotics investigation, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office, along with members of the Manville Police Department, executed the search warrant at his South Street home on Sept. 27 at around 8:30 p.m.

With the help of the Bound Brook Police Department’s K-9 Unit, “Crusader” and his handler, detectives found 221 bags of heroin, a black Thunder Power Taser, packaging material (empty baggies, a heroin stamper, 2 scales, and rubber bands), and $5,066 in cash, Robertson said.
The heroin seized has an estimated street value of $1,500.

Gordon was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
