• Somerset County Prosecutor's Office to host author Matthew Bocchi for presentation on recovery, resilience (wrnjradio.com) — A free county presentation on addiction, mental health, and resilience is coming to the Manville Public Library on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 6:30 p.m. Author and speaker Matthew Bocchi will share his personal story of loss, addiction, and recovery, aiming to reduce stigma and encourage residents to seek help. The event is open to all community members.
   

• Library System Sets Record Straight and Invites Somerville to Collaborate on a Constructive Path Forward (tapinto.net) — Somerville's library building remains closed, but Manville's branch is one of the nearby locations Somerville residents are encouraged to use while officials work on long-term solutions. Somerset County Library leaders are pressing Somerville's mayor for a collaborative plan after health concerns forced a quick shutdown of the West End Avenue site. Expanded home delivery, downtown programs, and online resources continue during the transition.
