Cheddar Is Patch's Pet Of The Week

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Meet Cheddar! She has been chosen as Hillsborough Patch's Pet Of The Week. Nominate your pet for Manville's Pet of the Week!

"Cheddar is a 12 year old Golden Retriever mix. We were fortunate enough to get Cheddar from my husband’s best friends, in South Carolina. Their two dogs, Gwen and Yankee, had a litter of puppies. Gwen was a black Spaniel mix and Yankee was a Golden Retriever. Half the liter was black in color and half was golden.

Cheddar has been the most amazing family dog. She is great with our kids, as well as, their friends. She enjoys having her belly being rubbed and going for rides in my husband’s pickup truck! She lets us dress her up for holidays and she actually smiles for the camera. She absolutely loves going out in the snow and rubbing her face in the snow. When our son wakes up in the morning she “talks” to him until he feeds her (she makes noises with him that she does not do with anyone else)."
