Emergency Preparedness Program For People With Disabilities To Be Held In Manville
"Emergency Preparedness: What You Should Know" will be held on Sept. 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Manville Library.

MANVILLE, NJ — A free interactive training program on how to prepare for emergencies will be held for residents with disabilities, their families and caregivers in Manville on Monday.
“Emergency Preparedness: What You Should Know” will be held on Sept. 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Manville Library, located at 100 S. 10th Ave. Attendees with disabilities will receive one free disaster kit per household while supplies last.
Topics include providing answers to these questions:

- Do you have a “go” bag for emergencies?
- Do you know there are organizations and resources that help people with disabilities prepare for emergencies?
Register by Sept. 15 by calling or emailing Paulann Pierson at 908-704-6334 or ppierson@co.somerset.nj.us and indicate whether Americans with Disabilities Act accommodations will be required.
