HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Meet Jake! He has been chosen as Hillsborough Patch's Pet Of The Week. Nominate your pet for Manville's Pet of the Week!
"Jake is an 8 year old Lhasa Terrier that my family adopted from Small Dog Rescue of Princeton last summer. He was put up for adoption after his elderly owners passed away within a few months of each other. We were told that Jake was "sedentary" when he came to us, but we think the poor little guy was grieving his parents.
Jake is now as happy and energetic as a puppy - he loves going for long walks on the canal or around the pond in our neighborhood in Fox Chase. He enjoys having his belly rubbed and tearing the stuffing out of all his toys. He loves going for car rides - we even took him on vacation to the Outer Banks with us over spring break!
