HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Meet Charlie! He has been chosen as Hillsborough Patch's Pet Of The Week. Nominate your pet for Manville's Pet of the Week!

"This is Charlie! He is an almost 14 year old Bishonpoo. Charlie was rescued by us at approximately 8 months old and has lived in Hillsborough with us ever since.

He is still spunky and active and most people think he is much younger. Charlie is truly a dog with nine lives! He has had two rear meniscus tears. One actually healed itself and at almost 14 he still can jump on and off furniture with ease.

Charlie also survived an accidental medication overdose with no lasting effect. Doctors were amazed! Lastly, he welcomed/survived the addition of two kitten siblings when he was 12. Charlie is a loving member of my family and I would be lost without my Charlie Bear. He truly rescued US."

Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
