Shea Is Patch's Pet Of The Week

MANVILLE, NJ — Meet Shea! She has been chosen as Patch's Pet Of The Week. Nominate your pet for Manville's Pet of the Week!

"This is Shea. She lives in the Rohill neighborhood of Hillsborough. She’s an 11 year old lab mix. We rescued her from a kill shelter when she was just a few weeks old. She’s very timid but incredibly sweet!

She loves long walks, running around and being silly, and rice cakes (her ears perk up when she hears the word rice cake). She has the drive to Sourland mountain memorized and she cries of excitement the whole way. She’s the greatest!!"

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com. Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
