• 12-year-old New Jersey boy in critical condition after baseball strikes head in pre-game warmups (nbcnews.com) — A Maple Shade youth baseball player, 12-year-old Xavier Taylor, remains in very critical condition after being struck in the head by a ball during warmups at Fellowship Columbia Bank Field. Maple Shade Youth Baseball and the wider community have rallied around his family with vigils, Main Street lit in his team’s color, and porch displays of baseball bats as they pray for his recovery.
