2 More Car Thefts Reported In Maplewood: Police
Maplewood police informed residents about two car thefts, one over the weekend and one earlier in March.
MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The Maplewood police sent an alert to residents on Saturday afternoon about a car theft that had just happened, and also reported one that had occurred earlier in the month.
On Saturday, Maplewood police sent the following alert to residents: "Alert: Jeep Cherokee stolen from 1565 Springfield Ave. Officers are on scene."
Several cars have been stolen in that area, where both businesses and homes are located.

Police also said last week that a resident of Boyden Avenue came into police headquarters to say that his Honda Accord had been stolen some time between March 8 and March 15.
The car was recovered on March 21 in Long Beach, New York, police said.
