Springfield Avenue Partnership is looking for vendors and classic car owners to participate in the 12th Annual MayFest.

Vendors and classic car owners are invited to be a part of the fun when Springfield Avenue Partnership hosts the 12th Annual MayFest on Maplewood’s Springfield Avenue, Sunday, May 19th from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A family-friendly array of rides, games, vendors and crafts, live music, festival food, a classic car show and more will stretch from Indiana Street to Oberlin Street along Springfield Avenue. Rain date is Sunday, May 26th. MayFest 2013 is being presented by Investors Bank (1331 Springfield Avenue, Irvington) and Walgreens (1633 Springfield Avenue).

Highlights of last year’s MayFest included a petting zoo, pony rides, inflatable rides and lots of fun activities for kids. Some of the areas hottest live bands and performers plus great food representing the diverse community that lives, works, shops and dines along Springfield Avenue will complete the scene at one of Maplewood’s largest and most anticipated community events.

For more information and downloadable application forms, interested vendors and classic car owners are encouraged to visit the Partnership’s website, SpringfieldAvenue.com, or contact the Partnership via email at admin@commercialdistricts.com or by phone, 973.763.6011, ext 15. Deadline for vendor applications is Friday, May 3, 2013. The Classic Car Show has limited spaces available and competition for prizes and trophies, so early reservations are encouraged.
