Comedy is King and so am I at Highland Place!

You won't want to miss it. On Thursday, March 21st, comedy returns to Maplewood! Along with other up-and-coming NYC/NJ based comedians, I'll be performing at Highland Place in what promises to be a hilarious night of entertainment.

I've been performing comedy again in New York City for a few years now after a taking a twenty year "sabbatical" to focus on a career that took me into the world of broadcast journalism, producing for news networks including FOX NEWS. Some might tell you, that was my best comedy performance to date, attempting to pass off neo-con talking points as hard news. Please don't hate me though, Murdoch's checks did clear!

Of course, I've also dabbled in local politics, even running as an independent Democrat back in 2011 for the Maplewood Township Committee. However, I was trounced by the Maplewood Democratic Committee, led by its formidable chairman, Mr. Ian Grodman. I ran into my friend Ian recently who told me if my comedy is half as strong as my run for office, I may not want to quit my day job! Too late Ian, I could have used that advice two years ago!

Please come out and support us. We have some very funny people including the hilarious Gordon Baker Bone and Jonesy! As for me, when I'm not performing in my backyard, I'm a regular in New York playing clubs including Carolines on Broadway, Broadway Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club and Greenwich Village Comedy Club.
