HarvestFest Update: Hilton Branch Library in the Center of the Action!
Maplewood's Hilton Branch Library on Springfield Avenue will be at the center of the action for this year's HarvestFest.

This Saturday's HarvestFest, presented by Springfield Avenue Partnership and Walgreens, will be held on the grounds of the Hilton Branch Library at 1688 Springfield Avenue between Tuscan and Oakland Roads from 11:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. (rain date: Sunday, October 14th). In addition to hosting HarvestFest, the library will also be adding to the fun with special activities and the presentation of a family friendly event on October 18th as part of the celebration.
At HarvestFest on October 13th, representatives of the library, led by Hilton Branch Manager Ina Rimpau (a Partnership board member) and Children's Librarian Jennifer Burkholder, will help people turn old tee shirts into bracelets. Sounds like fun for kids and adults!
On Thursday, October 18th, the library will host an Apple Extravaganza from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Children will enjoy listening to stories about apples, making apple print totes and sharing an apple snack.
