Maplewood November Real Estate Sales: Prices Hold Relatively Steady

In November, 10 was the magic number in real estate. See details, pictures, and a list of the residential homes sold along with a comparison of the sales price to the assessment value.

In November Maplewood sold one more home than in October, but at a lower average and median sales price. Ten residential homes sold with an average sales price of $447,466 and a median sales price of $459,500, compared to $535,444 and $475,000, respectively in October. Of these 10 homes, 4 sold within $10,000 of the final asking price, 1 sold at final asking price and zero sold over asking price. November 2011 looks better when you look at it compared to last year . Although Maplewood sold 5 fewer homes compared to November 2010, the November 2011 prices show an increased average sales price of $40,233 and an increased median sales price of $74,500. The November 2010 average sales price was $407,233 and the median sales price was $385,000. Stay attuned to the real estate market activities by tracking which homes have recently accepted sales contracts.
