Remove The Limits From Your Life

Is there something that you've always wanted to do, but have been putting it off? Have you ever thought about writing a book or taking a class? Do It Now!

Because of technical problems with my Internet this morning, I wasn't able to host my radio show which I do every Tuesday morning. I ended up talking to my co-host Georgette.

In the midst of our conversation Georgette shared with me how excited she was because she had just completed her first fencing class. Fencing is something she had always wanted to do, but never did. She talked about how much she enjoyed herself and wondered why she hadn't done this sooner.  She had to admit though that she was a little sore, but she is planning on doing it again.

After talking to Georgette I decided that this was the inspiration for my article today.  Fencing is something that interested Georgette, yet up until this weekend she had been putting off taking the class. Georgette told me on many occasion's that she wanted to donate money to fencing programs that were running in New York for unprivileged children. Now that's her next goal.

So often we find ourselves in this place of wanting to do something but we limit ourselves.

What's really important here is to understand that life is short and there is no better time than right now to do something that you've always wanted to do.  I've always wanted to learn how to sculpt.  I took a class when I was in college but failed miserably.  So for years I put it off. I love arts, crafts and beautiful things. So Georgette inspired me so much that I am going to learn how to sculpt tea pots. I feel that this will satisfy my sculpting desire.

Let Georgette's story be your inspiration and if that doesn't do it for you check out Eat Pray Love. When I saw this movie I fell in love with it.  It's on demand and I watch it over and over. Start enjoying life and remove the limits you've put on yourself.
