Round One Goes to Mitt Romney

Mitt Romney came, he saw, he conquered.

The former Massachusetts Governor clearly dominated Wednesday night's domestic policy debate, perhaps saving what had been a campaign taking on too much water. President Obama, who seemed flat most of the evening, was unable to counter Romney's impressive grasp of all things economic.

Of course, the old argument remains, those who supported the President before the debate still do and those who supported Romney haven’t changed their tune
either. However, it's the swing voter, the undecided voter who will most likely
determine this election. So, who is that undecided voter and what are they
looking to learn at this late stage of the campaign season?

For starters, they want to know that the candidate they choose has a plan that puts more money in their pocket. That's the bottom line. They want to be assured
that job growth will excel over the next four years as well. They need this and
based on yesterday's performance, Romney seemed to have a few solutions. On the other hand, the President seemed more interested in discussing the last four
years more than the future, a potential turnoff for independents.

President Obama had his moments too of course, but all too often he fell short when it came to nailing that one sound byte that the liberal media hordes would air over and over in celebration of their candidate. Conversely, Romney gave FOX NEWS plenty to cheer about including his desire to repeal Obamacare.

Expect Romney to enjoy a bump in the polls as we move closer to the October 11th Vice Presidential debate where the pressure will be on Joe Biden to at least even the score. All eyes will be on the still relatively unknown Paul Ryan to produce another knockout for the Romney/Ryan ticket. It’s clear, President Obama has some work to do if he wants another four years.
