The more interesting it gets, the less time I have to blog. Still, last week I actually took some time off - the Jones family went to Georgia for some Spring Break R&R. We stayed on Tybee Island, which I'd recommend if you're feeling beachy and don't want a lot of culture. It's about 12 miles from Savannah, a very fine place where I intend to spend more time in the future too. Just one warning: don't go on the riverboat cruise to see "the beauty of Savannah". The prettiest bit is the dock you start from. Most of the rest of the voyage is a fine view of a modern container port. Impressive but dull.
But back to what passes for reality with me these days. Next tuesday I'll be appearing at the Broadway Comedy Club in NYC in the show Casey- 30 Years later, for the third time. It's good fun, and I am frankly bloody brilliant - I'd love for some of you guys to attend - though I must warn you it's not for the easily offended - unlike most of the stuff I do.
If you do intend to come, tell me so I get more money - They'll know I've "barked" you in if I say so.

Quiz fans have a treat in store at Highland Place/Cranes when we run the Great Big Quiz Show on April 25th. They'll be doing some great food specials too.
And on April 3oth at the Burgdorff we have my family-friendly show, LORD WATCHOUT. Anyone who enjoyed the "Panto" in January is gonna love this. It's the world premiere, a one-man show (guess which man?) and a whole bunch of fun. One night only in Maplewood.

In May I'm in As You Like It with the Oxford Shakespeare Company, I'll tell you more about that next time.
There's a whole bunch of other Deadgood stuff bubbling under, which I'll blog about when they're more definite - including. most likely, Ye Olde Survey Sez.
Meanwhile, I'll leave you with this thought: my daughter said that I need a haircut, I said I was just having a Dad hair day.
