Columbia High School In Maplewood Sees 2nd Fire Alarm In A Week: Report
The school has had two fire alarm incidents this week, a report says.

Maplewood, NJ - Columbia High School in Maplewood saw a fire alarm incident on Wednesday, a report says.
Essex County Place reported that the fire alarm was activated at Columbia High School in Maplewood around 10:50 a.m., the second such incident to take place at the school in a week, according to the website.
The school also had an evacuation on May 6 around 12:30 p.m. after a fire alarm sounded and “reports of smoke” were given to authorities, Essex County Place stated.

Students were reportedly let back into the building less than 10 minutes later.
“The evacuation was reportedly caused after a steam pipe broke near Columbia High School's cafeteria,” Essex County Place stated in an update about the May 6 incident.
