This Saturday June 25th at 7:30 pm, please join us at the Maplewood Civic House for a screening of the award-winning documentary "Budrus," which chronicles a campaign of nonviolent civil disobedience by Palestinians (and Israeli activists) in the West Bank town of Budrus, where the Israeli separation barrier was cutting off the community from its olive trees.
Bradley Abelow, chairman of Just Vision, Inc., which produced the film, will speak about Just Vision and the making of Budrus. A full discussion after the film will be led by Abelow and Maplewood filmmaker Shlomi Ben Yair.
Admission is free and light refreshments will be served.
The Maplewood Civic House is located at 124 Dunnell Road in Maplewood, between Oakland Road and Oakview Avenue, just one block from the Maplewood NJ Train Station on the NJ Transit line. From New York, take the 6:11 pm train from Penn Station and arrive in Maplewood about 6:50 pm. Have dinner before the show.
