interACT Productions presents SHE LOVES ME

interACT Productions presents its fall 2011 musical, She Loves Me, at the Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts, 10 Durand Road, Maplewood, New Jersey. Performances run two weekends, October 7-16, 2011. Shows will be presented Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets are $20 for orchestra seats and $15 for balcony.

Based on the old play Parfumerie, which also inspired such big screen hits as Shop Around the Corner, In the Good Old Summertime and You've Got Mail, She Loves Me involves two battling co-workers who have no idea that they are romantic pen pals. This charming and upbeat musical, written by Bock and Harnick, the team behind Fiddler on the Roof, sets this now-classic misunderstanding in a 1930s Budapest perfume shop.   Join us for interACT Production's lively take on this well-loved American musical.

interACT productions is a new community theatre company in Essex County, NJ. Founded in 2009, we are enjoying our second season. Our mission is to bring communities and generations together through the arts. We draw people together from different towns, different backgrounds, and different ages to be part of this exciting endeavor. It takes a lot of people with many different talents and skills to run a theatre.

Our inaugural season included a hugely successful, multi-generational production of Godspell. Not only did audiences have a great time, the volunteers, performers and community all had an exciting and meaningful experience. The arts truly bring people together!

Our 2010-2011 season, began with the dark thriller Bad Seed in December, continued with interACT Sings! a cabaret-style showcase and fundraising event in May,, and will culminate with She Loves Me in October.
