We are having a special family event here at Main Library on Monday April 25th at 7pm. Three warriors and the chief of the Samburu tribe are coming here to New Jersey to speak to kids and families about life in rural Kenya. These are the families of our African Pen Pals, and everyone will get a chance to meet and talk with them. Our African Pen Pal Project has provided a unique opportunity for over 140 Maplewood/south Orange children to learn about another culture. It will be a once-in-a-lifetime event!
