“Emerge New Jersey’s greatest benefits, and indeed there are many, is that it serves as a vehicle for interested women, especially young women, to meet and share their thoughts and ideas about how they can make a difference by serving in elected office. Once they opt in, Emerge New Jersey stands ready to provide the knowledge, tools and support that empower women candidates to run and win,” said Assemblywoman Jasey.
The Second Annual Building The Bench Breakfast will begin with opening remarks delivered by U.S. Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman, a long-time supporter of Emerge New Jersey. Thereafter, a political power panel with Assemblywoman Jasey and other prominent New Jersey female legislators will take place. Followed by Emerge New Jersey honoring the states female movers and shakers with its "Bench Builder" award for their Democratic efforts.
