Maplewood Cops Investigate Multiple Thefts, Home Burglary On Kendal Avenue
Maplewood police said that cars were left unsecured in all of the reported incidents.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Maplewood police are advising residents to take safety precautions in light of multiple recent theft reports in the Kendal Avenue area.
According to a Tuesday advisory from the Maplewood Police Department, officers received several reports of thefts to unsecured vehicles on Kendal Avenue during the early morning hours.
Police also received a report of a home burglary involving an allegedly unlocked back door that night, authorities said.

“Residents are reminded to lock their homes’ doors and also their cars,” police stated. “While the MPD is working actively to identify suspects, we rely on the public’s help in keeping personal property secure. We urge residents to call and report any suspicious activity.”
