Today FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) declared Essex county a major disaster area.  Thank you Governor Murphy, Senator Cory Booker and County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo Jr. for their efforts on behalf of Maplewood and Essex county. 

To assess eligibility / processing claims please go to http://www.DisasterAssistance.gov or call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362). The TTY number for the hearing or speech impaired is 1-800-462-7585 (TTY). Calls will be accepted seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Tomorrow at 8:30 am The township will hold a 9/11 remembrance event outside the Hilton Branch Library at 1688 Springfield Avenue, Maplewood. Please join us.
