Sewer/Utility Foreperson:

Under direction of the Director and Superintendent of DPW or his/her appointee, supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing the physical infrastructure of the Township Utility collection system, and maintaining their proper operation and reporting; performs other related duties. This is a “Working Foreperson” position, which is defined as not only overseeing and coordinating the duties of the division but also performing the duties of the division.

Utility Worker/Laborer:
Description
Under direction of the Utility Foreperson and Management, performs varied types of skilled and unskilled manual laboring work. Must be able to operate, check, service and make basic repairs to utility infrastructure including but not limited to masonry repairs of inlets and manholes. Must also know basic maintenance and repairs to trucks and equipment used to perform this work, performs other maintenance duties as required.
