Maplewood Memorial Library recognized among 15 standout library projects nationwide (essexnewsdaily.com) — Maplewood's newly renovated Memorial Library has been named one of just 15 standout library projects nationwide, recognizing its $24 million expansion and sustainable, all-electric design. The LEED Gold-certified building now features a light-filled second floor with treehouse-like views, bird-safe glass, and solar panels that offset more than half its energy use.
