The Professional Track is designed for students who are currently working professionally or who aspire to work professionally. Top Industry professionals such as top agents and casting directors visit classes to share the secrets behind the audition process, which helps take all the guessing out of the equation. With the first sessions sold immediately, Dean Kravitz said he is happy to expand the program into their year-long curriculum.
The Professional Track offers students invaluable inside information and training including:
Phase 1: How to prepare material with extensive, focused guidance from the PTW Professional Track faculty in one-on-one sessions.
Phase 2: Learning techniques specific to auditioning effectively with PTW Professional Track faculty in a master class setting.
Phase 3: Practicing and Polishing these new techniques, incorporating feedback from PTW Professional Track faculty to improve audition skills.
Phase 4: Performing for top industry professionals in a series of master classes at PTW. Students will perform for top-notch industry professionals who specialize in placing children and young adults in Broadway shows, TV and film, getting invaluable feedback and help from them.
Phase 5: Incorporate what they’ve learned to take their audition skills to the next level.

About Performers Theatre Workshop (PTW):
Since 1983, PTW was been training kids who want to act, dance, sing and perform on stage, in film, and television. Founded by Juilliard graduates Howard and Esther Kravitz, this performing arts school has been training successful performers over 30 years and is now run by second-generation owner Dean Kravitz. With deep roots in the NYC performing arts community, the Conservatory trained teachers bring with them decades of experience from Broadway, Television, Film and much more. Every student, no matter their level of expertise or talent, is trained in a personal, positive, safe, fun environment with their fellow classmates. From ages 3 - 18, these students are mentored to build self-esteem, a professional demeanor in all of the performing arts and a sense of community.
