SOUTH ORANGE-MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Maplewood and South Orange are in for a week full of snow and rain, weather forecasters say.

Monday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 32. Wind chill values between 25 and 30. Light and variable wind.

Monday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow after 1am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 24. Light south wind.

Tuesday: Snow before 10am, then rain and snow, possibly mixed with sleet between 10am and 1pm, then rain after 1pm. High near 40. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tuesday Night: Rain. Low around 36. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 48. West wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night: A 50 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a steady temperature around 43.

Thursday: A 40 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 58.

Thursday Night: A 50 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a low around 42.

Friday: A 40 percent chance of rain before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41.
