• Margate man gets four years in shooting outside A.C. bar (downbeach.com) — A man who had been living and working in Margate has been sentenced to four years in prison for a 2024 shooting outside an Atlantic City bar that wounded a Linwood resident. Prosecutors say he fired from an SUV after being denied entry, admitted to aggravated assault, and must serve nearly three and a half years before parole eligibility, with co-defendants' cases still pending.
