2 Cars Stolen From Colts Neck Driveway

Breaking: The theft happened sometime Wednesday night on Pacer Court. The BMW was found in Newark, but a Mercedes is still at large.

COLTS NECK, NJ — Colts Neck police are reporting that two luxury vehicles, a Mercedes and a BMW, were stolen overnight Wednesday from a home. Both cars were parked in the home's driveway and had been left unlocked with the key fobs inside the cars, police said.

The 2005 BMW has already been recovered in Newark. The 2007 Mercedes is at large.

The cars' owner, a Pacer Court resident, told police the cars were stolen from their driveway sometime overnight while they were away.

If anyone observed any suspicious activity in the area of Pacer Court Wednesday night, they are asked to call the Colts Neck Police Department Detective Bureau at 732-780-7323 or detectives@coltsneckpolice.com.

Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles and never leave keys or key-fobs in vehicles. Colts Neck police say car thefts is an increasing problem in the Township.
