26 CYCLISTS RIDE FROM SANDY HOOK to the CAPITOL TO REMEMBER VICTIMS OF GUN VIOLENCE

26 cyclists will ride from March 8-11, 2014 from Sandy Hook to the Capitol to remember all victims of gun violence. Description26 cyclists will ride from Sandy Hook to the Capitol in March, 2014 in support of common sense legislation to reduce gun violence. We also ride to honor all of the victims of gun violence.

We support measures to help curb gun violence:

• requiring all gun buyers pass criminal background checks*...
• a ban of military-style assault weapons and high-capacity magazines
• making gun trafficking a federal crime, including real penalties for “straw buyers”
• strengthen gun ownership restrictions for people with severe mental illness
