Vehicle Rollover Prompts Emergency Response In Marlboro

The driver was able to self-extricate from the overturned vehicle before emergency personnel arrived.

MARLBORO, NJ — A driver was able to self-extricate from their vehicle after it overturned on Friday afternoon.

At 2:57 p.m. on Friday, the Morganville Fire Department was dispatched to Robertsville for a reported motor vehicle rollover with possible entrapment.

Once crews arrived, they found that the occupant had successfully self-extricated from the overturned vehicle before emergency personnel arrived.

Firefighters from Robertsville Volunteer Fire Co. #1 28-2-75 and 28-2-86, and Morganville units 28-3-91 and 28-3-75 assisted on scene by securing both involved vehicles and disconnecting their power sources to eliminate potential electrical hazards.

As of Monday morning, the identity of the vehicle occupant has not been released.

Patch has reached out to the Marlboro Township Police Department for additional information.

"We are thankful the occupant was able to exit the vehicle safely and wish them a full and speedy recovery," the fire department said in an online post. "The Morganville Fire Department is proud to work alongside our mutual aid partners to provide prompt and professional service whenever called."
