Attempted Colts Neck Burglary Saturday Night
The men tried to gain entry through a screened-in room in the back of the house, police said.

Colts Neck, NJ - Two men tried to break into a home on Meadowview Drive in Colts Neck just after midnight this past Saturday night, Colts Neck police said.
At 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28, patrols responded to the Meadowview Drive residence for a report of an attempted burglary. No one was at home at the time of the attempted break-in. There are several video clips that were collected between 12:25 a.m. and 12:59 a.m, and the subjects on video are seen walking around the house, spending time at the front entry door and then attempting to gain entry through an unsecured screen room in the rear of the house.
The subjects pulled the electric meter from the exterior wall pan and left it on the ground, police said. The suspects are possibly Hispanic or light-skinned black males wearing hoods and gloves.
