The death of the America I knew.

Although I was never a good student, I loved history and politics.  At age 69, most of the America I knew no longer exists.  What troubles me , is the direction the country and politics has taken during my lifetime.  The idea of a strong, independent, self sufficient citizen has been replaced with a nanny state where all is done by a huge, uncontrollable government. Not only the Federal government but, state, county and municipal in a never ending expansion.  More taxes, more employees, more pensions, more benefits, more, more, more at what cost? 

Obamacare is another governmental infringement usurping more power and money.  There’s no logical way for this program to survive when most people do not want it or can afford it.  What light bulb you can use, what helmet you must wear for batting a baseball, new and ever expanding OSHA regulations, auto mileage regulations etc etc etc.

It will never end unless the voters change it.

This system is a self feeding diabolical monster. Governments wooing illegal and poor people with a promise of free everything. Attempting the redistribution of the wealth of the middle and upper class to pay for this.

Give aways of every kind for one purpose… RE-ELECTION AND THE CONTINUATION OF GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES AND THEIR EVER EXPANDING WORKPLACE.
