Free Tree Seedlings For Marlboro And Colts Neck Residents
Marlboro and Colts Neck residents can get free tree seedlings as part of New Jersey's Tree Recovery Campaign.

Colts Neck and Marlboro residents can get free tree seedlings this month as part of New Jersey’s Tree Recovery Campaign, a program to replace trees damaged or destroyed by Superstorm Sandy.
Colts Neck residents can pick up the seedlings at the Colts Neck Township Municipal Building from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday. Marlboro residents can get their seedlings on April 11 from 10 a.m. to noon at the township’s recreation center.
The seedlings will be available on a first come, first-served basis. They should be planted within two days to prevent the roots from drying out.

Last year, tens of thousands of seedlings were distributed, but across the state, hundreds of thousands of trees are still needed, according to the Arbor Day Foundation.
