How Can You Help The Victim's Affected By The Avalon Fire?

More than 1,000 Edgewater residents were displaced by the fire that ripped through the The Avalon apartment complex on Wednesday and they could use your help.

The Edgewater based company, DXagency, has created EdgewaterStrong.org – a place where you can donate funds to aid the hundreds of hurting families in need.

Community members can also visit the donation site, located at City Place next to Flemings, to donate or volunteer.

EdgewaterStrong.org already raised over $24,000.00 within the first 24 hours of its launch.

The site is also opening an online store, selling T-shirts for the cause – 100% of the money raised goes directly to the families who lost their home.
