Make A Blanket Day for Veteran's and Project Linus

Saturday, November 8th from 11 am to 3, at the Morganville Volunteer Fire Company #1- 78 Tennent Road, Morganville

A light lunch buffet will be served and then we’ll begin making no-sew tied fleece blankets; offering help with crochet and knitting projects; and stations for sewing will also be set up.  The blankets made and donated today will be given to the Vineland Veteran’s Home and Project Linus.

If you want to help make blankets and will be bringing fleece to donate, you should buy it in 2 yard pieces for teens and adults and 1 1/2 yards for infant and toddlers. We will supply the instructions and  items needed to trim the material.

The event is being coordinated by the Chapter D Lady Riders group and the cost is $10 per person (which will offset the lunch and help to raise some funds for the three charities).  More information is available at www.gwrranjd.org by clicking on the date (11/8) or the Lady Riders tab. If interested or for more information, email figment414@gmail.com.
