Marlboro and Colts Neck High Schools Drop in NJ Monthly Ranking

Rankings are in for Marlboro High School and Colts Neck High School.

and High Schools have made the grade on New Jersey Monthly’s Top High School list.

Colts Neck High School, which ranked 80 in 2010, moved down the list to 103 in this year's list. Marlboro High School ranked 93 two years ago, and moved down this year to the 123 spot.

According to New Jersey Monthly, rankings on both lists are calculated through many categories including student-teacher ratios, graduation rate, combined SAT score, and combined average HSPA scores.

This year, the magazine also added Vocational schools to the list. Five Monmouth County Schools made the top 10, with High Technology High School in Lincroft coming in at the number one spot, followed by Communications High School in Wall, and Academy of Allied Health & Science in Neptune coming in third. Click here to see how other Vocational Schools ranked on New Jersey Monthly’s list.
