Marlboro PD Launches New Website With Community Resources
The site includes information about each division of the department as well as a way to digitally report crimes.

The recently launched a re-designed version website, which includes the history of the department, division information, breaking news alerts and a way to report a crime over the Internet.
"We are very happy with the feedback we are getting from the community. Presently, we are finding many citizens taking the opportunity to interact with the PD with comments, suggestions, tips, and at times complaints," Police Captain Steve Mennona said.
Residents can sign up to receive the department's newsletter and even send e-mail compliments to specific officers in the "commend an officer" section.

And now, residents can pay their tickets online, making it easier to get around the 4-day work week of the department clerk and records department, which is closed on Fridays.
The site was developed by RP Design Web Services with the influence of content and function derived from Chief Bruce Hall, Sgt. Darren Vuzzo and Ptlm. David Ruditsky.

According to a department news release, highlights of the new site are:
• Reporting suspicious activity online
• Obtaining accident reports online
• Reporting a crime online
• Online form downloads
• Newsletter requests
• Contact list for emailing members of the police department.
• Connection with Social Media
• Information on Identity Theft
• Recruitment opportunities
• Victim Awareness
• “LATEST” news ticker for up to date news from the police department.
The release states that the website was financed entirely by forfeiture funds, enabling the department to give back to the community without using tax payer dollars.
