Marlboro Township Now Under a Declaration of Water Emergency
All non-essential water use is prohibited; residents may not water lawns, wash cars or fill pools. Police will be out issuing tickets.

Marlboro, NJ - As of 4:30 p.m. Friday, Marlboro Township is now under a Declaration of Water Emergency.
The township warned people earlier in the day to conserve water after a major supply pipe had to be repaired, but Middlesex Water Company (MWC) has now advised that they must completely shut down that transmission line for emergency repairs.
All non-essential water use is prohibited, the township says. Residents and businesses must cease all non-essential water use and may not water lawns, wash cars or fill pools. All steps should be taken to reduce water consumption.
