Following the Veterans Day Ceremony, we will gather at the corner of Hobart and Willis Streets to unveil and dedicate an honorary street designation "Maziekien Way."

As we near Veteran’s Day, honoring the service and sacrifice of all our Military Veterans, residents are asked to inspect their American Flags for wear, fading or damage. If a Flag is unused or should be retired it may be brought to the American Flag Disposal bin located in the lobby of Town Hall during business hours. A second flag disposal box, built by Eagle Scout Zachary Gelber, is available 24/7 in the parking lot of the Marlboro Fire House.

The Town Hall flag bin was built and donated by Marlboro resident and US Navy Veteran, William Waple. Since 2014, Marlboro Boy Scout Troop 86, who partnered with Mr. Waple, has collected and arranged for the ceremony to properly honor hundreds of flags that were damaged or no longer in service.
