Marlboro Twp. Veterans Day Ceremony Saturday
The ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 11 at the Veterans Memorial at the Marlboro Municipal Complex.

MARLBORO, NJ — In observance of Veteran’s Day 2017, Marlboro Township Mayor Jonathan Hornik has directed the Police Division Honor Guard to provide the laying of the memorial wreath. The Veterans Memorial is located at the Marlboro Municipal Complex, 1979 Township Drive. The ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017. The public is invited to attend.
As we near Veteran’s Day, honoring the service and sacrifice of all our Military Veterans, residents are asked to inspect their American Flags for wear, fading or damage. If a Flag is unused or should be retired it may be brought to the American Flag Disposal bin located in the lobby of Town Hall.
The bin was built and donated by Marlboro resident and US Navy Veteran, William Waple. Since 2014, Marlboro Boy Scout Troop 86, who partnered with Mr. Waple, has collected and arranged for the ceremony to properly honor hundreds of flags that were damaged or no longer in service. For information about proper flag etiquette, please emailinfo@BSATroop86.org. The Flag Disposal bin remains in the Marlboro Town Hall lobby located at 1979 Township Drive and is accessible during normal business hours.
