A Marlboro woman was charged with DWI and other offenses after police say she hit a street sign and a concrete retaining wall in Aberdeen.
Aberdeen police charged Elena Menchov, 53, of Picadilly Drive, Marlboro, with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and refusal to submit to a breath test on Sunday.
Around 10:15 p.m., she was behind the wheel of her 2013 Chevrolet, trying to back up, when she hit a street sign and the wall on Warren Drive, according to a news release from Aberdeen Chief John T. Powers.

She was not injured and was released, pending a municipal court appearance, the chief said.
Officer Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer.
