A Matawan man burglarized vehicles in town, then used a stolen debit card to buy a dog treat and toy, according to court documents.

A Matawan man burglarized vehicles in town, then used a stolen debit card to buy a dog treat and toy, according to court documents.

According to criminal complaints:

Michael T. Arlotta, 21, of Schenck Avenue was arrested on July 18 and charged with burglarizing vehicles in Matawan.

On July 17, he stole a wallet from a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta.

He stole a GPS unit from a 2008 Ford pick-up truck.

He stole a debit card from a 2011 Audi, and he used that card to buy a rawhide dog bone and a water bottle crunchers dog toy at Walgreen’s in Matawan.

He also used the card at an Route 34 Sunoco gas station in Old Bridge, an Aberdeen 7-Eleven, and to pay a towing company in Old Bridge.
