Support Our Troops!
Bring your children and their UNOPENED Halloween Candy to our office and receive $1.00 per donated pound (up to 5 pounds). Children must be accompanied by an adult. Each child will also receive a light up toothbrush and other giveaways from local businesses in exchange for his/her candy donation.
Candy will be collected:
Friday, November 1, 2013 9 AM to 1 PM
Saturday, November 2, 2013 9AM to 2PM
The candy will be sent to Operation Shoebox New Jersey. Founded in February, 2005, it is an all-volunteer grass roots organization dedicated to collecting donated supplies and shipping care packages to US troops based in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other Middle East countries. They are committed to sending packages overseas as long as there is a need. For more information, go to: www.opshoebox.nj.org.
